Our Club
The Rotary Club of Scottsdale North is part of a global network of 46,000 clubs around the world, consisting of 1.4 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who come together to make positive, lasting change in our local communities and around the world.

We are a casual Arizona evening club with a passion for both community service and friendship, exemplified by our motto; “Helping others while celebrating life!”   Our community service projects help those in need in the North Scottsdale, Carefree, and Cave Creek communities, and across the globe.

Service Above Self

From literacy and peace to water and health, we are always working to better our world, and we stay committed to the end.

It started with the vision of one man — Paul Harris. The Chicago attorney formed the Rotary Club of Chicago on 23 February 1905, so professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas, form meaningful, lifelong friendships, and give back to their communities.  Rotary’s name came from the group’s early practice of rotating meetings among the offices of its members.

Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.       -Rotary International Vision statement-
