During one of our past meetings we had a visit from Leigh Zydonik. Leigh is the Executive Director at Foothills Food Bank & Resource Center.
Foothills Food Bank is located in Black Canyon City and serves families in the North Valley. They are fighting hunger and providing assistance to individuals and families in Cave Creek, Carefree, Scottsdale, Anthem, north Phoenix, New River, Spring Valley, Corded Lakes, Rio Verde, Mayer and Black Canyon City. During 2020, with more than 70 no-contact drive-through food distribution location, Foothills Food Bank donated over 1.5 million pounds of food to those in need.
