Rotary Club of Scottsdale North president Daniel Eastburn presented a check to Jessie Swygert, Director of Operations of Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels. Our grant of $2,000 sponsors 40 Comfortcozy Care Packs given to children in the oncology unit of our local children’s hospital. These bags include blankets and special shirts that have zippers and pockets in places that allow for tubes and ports used for feeding or administering medications to these very ill children. They also include some other fun items for the children. Amanda’s Hope Rainbows Angels in Phoenix serves newborns to young adults and helps 1,000-2,000 families each year. Their services include play therapy and counseling for families.
